Gabriela Pupo

Hello Delegates! My name is Gabriela Pupo and I am currently a Junior at ISP. I was born in São Paulo, Brazil where I lived for 2 years. I then moved to Panama where I lived for 4 years, before moving to Bogotá for 3 years. I've been in Panama since then, 12 years in total. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, traveling, playing guitar, watching tv shows, and cooking. In my Freshman year I debated as a delegate for the HRC committee and in my Sophomore year, Security Council. This year being a chair I am extremely proud and excited to take part in the organization of PANAMUN. I am a very approachable person so if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me at any time. I am looking forward to being your chair and making sure that the DISEC committee is fun and enjoyable for all delegates. I can't wait to meet all of you and I wish you the best of luck during Panamun XXXI.

Juan Canavaggio

Hello Delegates! My name is Juan Carlos Canavaggio, I am currently a Senior at the International School of Panama (ISP). I am honored and excited to be one of your chairs at this year's PANAMUN XXXI. I was born and raised in Panama and have been at ISP for 3 years now. My first debate was in 9th grade being PANAMUN XXVIII, since then I've participated in 5 MUN conferences as a delegate. I’ve loved every single one of them, learning new experiences and points of view in each of them. MUN conferences have been a true learning experience and are the perfect place to meet new people. Through MUN conferences, I have improved my understanding of world issues, my professionalism and my diplomacy. Above all, MUN conferences teach you to be an understanding and outstanding student, who should always keep an open mind. I am really looking forward to meeting you all. I am very proud to be the chair of DISEC this year, and will do my best to ensure the best experience for delegates. Likewise, I hope this will be an amazing and fun experience for you all in a new debating environment. I am excited to meet you all and hope we have an amazing conference together.
