Hello delegates! My name is Gisele Souza but everyone calls me Gigi and I am currently a Junior at the International School of Panama. I will be one of your chairs for this year's Middle School Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice for PANAMUN XXXIII. I was born in the small town of Macae, Brazil where I was raised until I was 4. Ever since then, I have moved around South America to settle definitively in Panama 2 years ago. I was first introduced to MUN in my 8th grade year at Quito, Ecuador in which we traveled to Panama to participate in my first MUN, PANAMUN XXXI. As a foreign delegate I participated in the Middle School Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. Since, I have attended 3 other MUN conferences all of which have helped me develop a deeper appreciation for diplomatic dialogue and conjoined problem solving. My involvement in school clubs such as iGEM has helped me increment my love for biology. At home I also love activities such as cooking and gardening which I usually bring around to share.
