My name is Connor Jeronimo. I am 15 years old, and currently a sophomore at the International School of Panama. And for the past 4 years, I’ve been participating in PANAMUN, and I am equally honored and excited about the opportunity to be this year's DSG of High School in PANAMUN XXXIV. I was born in the United States in Virginia, and during middle school moved to Panama, where I have lived for the past 6 years.

My PANAMUN journey, admittedly, didn’t get off to the start I anticipated. PANAMUN XXXI was held online due to ongoing protests in Panama, regardless, I tried to make the most of the experience in my middle school committee. And in our crisis when Lionel Messi was captured by the Saudi Arabian government, my friend and I got to wear our Messi jerseys to show our support. However, it wasn’t until METMUN V that I was able to attend a conference in-person and where I fell in love with MUN as a whole. Being able to see first-hand the excitement, passion and love delegates had for the debate. Since then, PANAMUN and Model UN has been integral within my academic and personal life, and I have participated in as many conferences as I could.
I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside an amazing team of Secretariat members that will strive to not only make the conference as best as it can be, but also to inspire a new generation of leaders that can confidently carry on the spirit of PANAMUN. To understand the dignity, responsibility, and courage that comes with speaking their truth. To share their knowledge and ideas with the world. And to be the change that shapes humanity for the better. And always remember, “A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.” See you all in October!
