Hello everyone!
My name is Finley Steinbeck, and I have the incredible honor of being one of the Middle School Deputy Secretary Generals for PANAMUN XXXIII. Currently, I'm a junior in ISP, and I have been part of the ISP community since pre-kinder. Fifth grade is when my debate journey truly kicked off, and now PANAMUN XXXIV will be my 9th conference! PANAMUN has truly been a life-changing experience that has served me and shaped me in so many different ways. Above all, PANAMUN has given me a place to be a leader with a voice and has done the same for many others!
I have been raised in Panama for the past 13 years, though I'm Colombian American. Outside of PANAMUN and debating, I love hanging out with friends, listening to music, riding horses, and reading!
Ultimately, beyond all the debating and resolutions, PANAMUN has been a space where I have grown as a leader, built lasting friendships, and pushed myself to think critically about global issues. Whether it's the excitement of a crisis, the challenge of giving a powerful speech, or the late-night research sessions, every conference has shaped me into a more skillful person. As I step into the role of Middle School Deputy Secretary General, I want to help delegates find their voice, step out of their comfort zones, and experience the same excitement and growth that PANAMUN has given me.
I hope you all are looking forward to PANAMUN XXXIV, as it truly is a transformative experience!
