DSG of Admins

My name is Victoria Perdomo, but feel free to address me as Vicky. I am honored to be the Deputy Secretary General of Admin Staff this PANAMUN XXXIIV. I am now a Senior, and this is my fourth PANAMUN. I was born in Venezuela, but have lived in Panama almost my whole life. Since coming here, ISP has given me numerous opportunities to explore my interests and self, and I've discovered that I'm surrounded by wonderful and compassionate people. Aside from PANAMUN, I enjoy going to the gym, sleeping (A LOT!), and spending time with my friends and family. If you get to know me, you will hear me talking non stop about my dog ALICE!

My first PANAMUN experience was in 5th grade, it wasn't a REAL PANAMUN conference, but more like a mock trial. I remember being very shy to state my points and not talking much. As my experience in panamun continued through the years as a delegate, I slowly realized that debating was not my thing. When I finally reached 10th grade I applied to become a part of the admin staff. Being an admin was so much more fun than I expected it to be, and it made me fall in love with working backstage to make such a big conference successful. Creating a unique door design for my committee and helping delegates with note passing allowed me to get more comfortable with PANAMUN logistics.

As an admin, I saw the incredible work that the DSG of Admins did, and I wanted to do the same. I'm here, realizing that dream. I am confident that in addition to working behind the scenes on planning, I will guide new admins to discover their passion and love this work as much as I did. I can't wait to work with the rest of the Secretariat at this year's conference and perhaps motivate the upcoming generation of admins.

I am so excited to see you all for PANAMUN XXXIV!!
