Lia Caballero
Hey everyone! My name is Lia Caballero, and I’m currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I’ve been a delegate for two years now—WHO and SOCHUM—and I’m honored to be your chair for PANAMUN XXXIV in the Human Rights Council (HRC)! I’ve lived in Panama City my whole life. Aside from academics, I love spending time with my friends and family as well as participating in theater. Honestly, I wasn’t looking forward to my first PANAMUN conference, but after experiencing the rich debates, I discovered a new passion for MUN—one I hope all of you experience too! My goal as your chair is not only to guide the debate but also to help you gain confidence, make new connections, and have fun while learning. I’m super excited to meet all of you and will do my best to make sure we have a collaborative, engaging, and most importantly, fun debate. Feel free to reach out to me or my co-chair if you have any questions or concerns. Can’t wait to meet you all soon!

Esha Chugani
Hello delegates, my name is Esha Chugani, and I am a junior at Balboa Academy and president of the Debate Club. I am honored to be your chair in the Human Rights Council (HRC) in PANAMUN XXXIV! I was born and raised in Panama. Debate, MUN specifically, is something I am extremely passionate about. My first debate experience was in PANAMUN 2024, where I was a delegate in the United Nations Organization of Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Since this was my first debate, I struggled and made mistakes. I know how it feels to be a first-time delegate, which is why I want to assure you that we have all been there, and the mistakes are part of the experience. PANAMUN pushed me out of my comfort zone and was the beginning of my debate experience. It encouraged me to become more involved in debate, and since then, I have attended two conferences as a delegate and one as a chair. I've gained several skills from it, ranging from public speaking to quick problem-solving. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, traveling, and going to the gym. If you have any questions, concerns, or doubts, please do not hesitate to reach out via email. I am thrilled to meet you all and wish you the best of luck!
