Hello delegates, my name is Marina Perez Balladares Müller. I am a senior at the International School of Panama, and I will be delighted to be one of the chairs for the Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM) for PANAMUN XXXIV. I was born in Panama, and have been in ISP since 1st grade, this year being my 12th year attending this school. Furthermore, I had my first experience in debate as a freshman delegate in PANAMUN, and it taught me many useful skills. During this conference, I acknowledged that I truly enjoyed formulating arguments, challenging myself, and most importantly, developing my public speaking skills. Aside from debating, I enjoy many sports, such as long-distance running, tennis, and skiing, and take these activities really seriously. MUN conferences are amazing opportunities not only to improve diplomacy skills and expand your knowledge, but to meet new people, form new connections, and make countless memories. As one of your chairs. I will ensure that these debates are enriched and foster fun, interactive learning experiences.
