Nathalia Ruiz
My name is Nathalia Ruiz, and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I am very excited to be part of PANAMUN XXXII this year as a moderator in The United Nations Children´s Fund. I am from Panama and have been at ISP since fifth grade. My first PANAMUN was in eighth grade, and I decided to attend because I wanted to try something new, like debate. From that moment on, I developed a passion for debating and participated in 5 more conferences.PANAMUN became so important to me because it helped me improve my confidence and ability to speak in front of an audience. It also gave me the opportunity to research and engage in topics I´m interested in while meeting people from different places. Apart from PANAMUN, I love listening to music, and painting, and I´ve been a dancer for most of my life. I look forward to meeting all of you, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions before or during the conference!

Ximena Porras
Hello Delegates! My name is Ximena Porras and I have the immense pleasure to be a chair for the UNICEF committee in PANAMUN XXXIII. I am currently a sophomore at Marian Baker School in Costa Rica, and be that as it may I’ve been attending PANAMUN for about 4 years. MUN has had a big impact in my life ever since I joined the class when I was in 6th Grade. Throughout the years, MUN has helped me improve my critical thinking, public speaking, the ability to reach consensus, and overall see the world in a different perspective. I still recall my first conference, It was PANAMUN. I remember being so frightened to speak, but I still recall my chairs telling me that I had the potential to become an outstanding delegate. During this conference, I hope to foster that type of confidence, my chairs back then helped me find, and help you, delegates, find it. As for fun facts about me, I play volleyball and in my free time I love to cook and travel. I am beyond excited to meet you all and if you find yourself with any doubt or question do not hesitate to contact me or my co-chair. I wish you all the best of luck!
