Julián Rojas

Hello Delegates! My name is Julian Rojas, I am a junior at the International School of Panama and will be one of your chairs for PANAMUN XXXIII in the World Health Organization committee. I was born in Bogota, Colombia, and spent 2 years there before moving to Santiago, Chile. After 7 years I moved to Panama where I currently live. My first experience was in 5th grade, and although I started nervous, I ended up enjoying and learning from that experience. After that, I have participated in 7 other MUN conferences and this is my second as a chair. In my free time, I play soccer for my school and a team outside, I love to spend time with the people I love and I love MUN! I am a super approachable person so if you have any questions or concerns about procedure, position papers, opening speeches, or anything else you can reach out to me at any time. I am honored and super excited to be your chair in this WHO committee, I wish you all the best!

Carolina Carneiro

Hello Delegates!! My name is Carolina Carneiro Jacob, and it is an honor and a pleasure for me to be chairing your committee, the World Health Organization, at PANUMUN XXXIII. I am a junior at the French International School of Panama, although I am originally from Brazil. I have lived both in the capital and São Paulo, before moving to France at the age of 8. There I learned both French and English, and four years later I came to Panama, where I’ve been ever since. I discovered MUN only last year, and my first conference was PANAMUN XXXII, in which I participated as the delegate of Iran in SOCHUM. After that, I delegated as Brazil in METMUN’s UNSC, making this my third conference. MUN allowed me to improve my debating skills, leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence, while giving me the chance to discuss topics that are important to me and the world. Other than debating, I love music, with a particular interest in bass, sciences, reading, drawing, and spending time with friends. MUN means a lot to me as it is a chance for our younger generation to speak up about topics that matter, and I am beyond excited to help you make the most out of this experience. In case of any doubts, please feel free to reach out to me or my co-chair at any time! I cannot wait to meet you, and I wish every one of you the best of luck!
