Hello delegates! My name is Anapaula Lacayo and Ill be a sophomore during the upcoming PANAMUN XXX III conference. I live in Nicaragua and study at the American Nicaraguan school. I am very honored to be co-chairing the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime committee this year. I was born In Miami but have lived in Nicaragua for most of my life. This will be my second experience chairing in a conference, my first was in the OAS Special Mission committee at RISING DALE II. My debate experience started when I was in seventh grade where I attended the DALE X conference, I then went on to participate in many conferences like PANAMUN XXXII, HACIA XXX, RISING DALE II, DALE X, DALE XI and DALE XII. I enjoy politics and im very passionate about topics that have to do with climate change, human rights, and economy. I also love learning about different political views in history, like Nicolo Machiavelli’s. Outside of debate I enjoy Track and field, reading, spending time with my friends, listening to music, travelling, taking pictures and watching movies. I hope to share my passion for debate, policy making and resolution with you. Im eagerly looking forward to meeting you and learning from each and every one of you!
