Daniel Bastidas
Hello delegates! Welcome to PANAMUN XXXIV! My name is Daniel Bastidas, and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I am very excited and honored to be your chair this year, as well as work with you in the United Nations Peace Building Committee. I was born in the United States in Miami, Florida, but lived the majority of my life in Colombia, Bogota, specifically for around 11 years, before I came to Panama and have lived here for 5 years, where I still reside. My first participation in PANAMUN was in sixth grade, and I have participated in the conferences for a total of 4 conferences. During my free time, I like to do things like play soccer and other sports, spend time with family and friends, and listen to music. I am very excited to meet all of you, but also ask that you remain respectful to your chairs, delegates, admin, etc Thank you so much for participating in this conference, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to my co-chair or me.

Gabriela Ocando
Hello Delegates! My name is Gabriela Ocando, and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I will be one of your chairs for this year's PANAMUN XXXIV in the United Nations Peacebuilding Committee. I was born in Panama; however, my family is Colombian and Venezuelan, so I see myself more as from those places. My first PAMUN was in 7th grade, where I was a delegate in HRC and enjoyed it very much. Since then, I have participated in three more PANAMUN’S, one outside the country. My favorite experience since has been my time at UNESCO. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, running, hiking, camping, and being with my family. I believe above all, PANAMUN is a way to speak up, have fun, and talk to new people. I promise you that through this conference, I will do my best to make this experience fun, engaging, and memorable.
